Wall hung toilets and basins have been used in many countries around the world for decades and are now becoming the look of choice in more and more U.K bathrooms.
The ability to raise the pan off the floor and remove the basin pedestal creates a more spacious and minimalist look with the added benefit of easy access to the floor for cleaning. Until now this would have been achieved by using a wall mounting frame (pictured right), which must be either let into the wall or surface mounted and then boxed in ready for tiling. Either method involves costly time, work and materials to hide the frame and usually a compromise in look due to the boxed out section. Most traditional frames require a cavity of about 200mm but the Monoliths come in at a slim 107mm, almost half the depth. They offer enviromental dual-flush and can be combined with a veriety of wall hung or floor standing pans.
The new range of glass monoliths from Geberit are a sleek and elegant alternative to traditional frames. They are surface mounted, easy to install and do not require any disruption to existing walls or tiling. This makes them a stunning choice in new bathrooms but particularly suited to renovations were a completely new look can be achieved without the need to re-tile the room.
Available to fit basin, toilet pan and bidet in four glass colours. Umbra, White, Black and Mint.Monolith 2
